Ubuntu Sabily - Laptop / Notebook Buying Guide

In this article I like to discuss about using Ubuntu Sabily on a Laptop or Notebook. One item we need to consider when buying a Laptop to install with Sabily, that it is not installed with Microsoft Windows operating system inside it. Meaning it is FreeDos. The price of the Laptop will be more cheaper if without Microsoft Windows install inside it. Unless you still want to use Windows OS and install Sabily inside it. About hardware, almost all hardware support by Linux Ubuntu Sabily. I survey some Laptop, Notebook and Netbook online and found some brand and model that is suitable for you to use with Sabily. For installation experience, wait for my article " Installation On An Old Laptop ". You can refer to it for your installation guide.

  7. just my 2 cent.

maybe you should reconsider purchasing laptop/notebook/netbook with intel inside it. as far as i know, intel is one biggest supporter of israel laknatullah.

  8. To anonymous, thanks for your comment.
Beside that, I like to ask you for any altenative that you have for processor or chipset other than Intel and AMD?. Did you use Sabily yet?.
Before Linux came out, all people in the world only know Windows OS and they don't have any altenative to replace them. Then Linux came out (not invent by Muslim) and many people switch to it cause it is a free OS. So now some Muslim software engineer share their knowledge to help Muslims by invent Sabily (event nobody pay them) with hope all Muslims will have benefit from it. For your suggestion, as I know, until now only have two processor maker which is Intel and AMD (both non Muslim company).
If future we have replacement for them, I will surely suggest to switch from them.
For this article, all laptop that I recommend is Free Dos, meaning not supporting Windows (extra pay) event it is Intel or AMD.
    Anyway thanks for your comment.
