Sabily 11.04 Badr beta released

I had installed Sabily 11.04 Badr Beta version and like to share some of my experience about it. To install it on your system, you need to download it at http://sabi.ly/sabily/11.04/beta/sabily-11.04-beta-desktop-i386.iso or http://www.wuala.com/jmehdi/DVD%20ISO%20files/11.04/beta/ . After complete download you should make live dvd or bootable USB drive from it in order to make it bootable on your system. If you can't install it on hardware, you still can try it by using virtual machine on your current operating system. Please remind that this is beta version and purposely for testing only. Any issue will be list at http://www.sabily.org/wiki/index.php/Sabily-11.04-tests .

Here is my installation session.

01. Beginning of installation. I just select Install Sabily-small.
02. Prepare to install.
03. Allocate drive space.
04. Erase disk and install Sabily-small.
05. Installation starts.
06. Select destination.
07. Select keyboard layout.
08. Fill some information about you.
09. Installation in progress. Just wait until complete.
10. Installation completed. It take about half an hour on my system.
Next post we will browse around it and seek some new item that they added to this version.

  2. I want to know why sabily did not take the results of the referendum, which was on the site, which refers to the demand of users GNOME 3? Is there a reason? You will be added or what?
